Our Executive Chef Mark Ford, has created a selection of sumptuous menus to compliment Sandalford’s range of premium wines.

Additional Information:	We can create a unique wine theme for your function. At Sandalford Winery, we have expanded to incorporate a range of wine tourism facilities – Wine Appreciation classes, the Sandalford Winery Experience (Winery Tour & Wine Tasting), Wine Blending Sessions and Winemaker for a Day package.  Instead of inviting the guests to sample the wines and assume they know how to assess it, we go back to basics and teach how to evaluate the wine. Guests go through the assessment points of colour, nose and palate. They will not be expected to remember all their newfound knowledge, so we provide each with a wine education kit and a Sandalford Winery Tasting glass as a keepsake. The wine appreciation can be conducted separately or as part of our Sandalford Winery Experience. This involves going behind the scenes on suspended walkways and platforms, through the operational winery, including red and white red fermentation areas, crushing, pressing, the laboratory, and oak storage to learn how wine is made. For blending sessions, the group will then go through the education process of the blend between different varieties and regions, then put their knowledge to the test, individually creating their own original blend of wine.
