Perth City Farm is a not-for-profit community organisation and unique urban sanctuary situated in East Perth.

We have 2 awesome open plan venues and 2 commercial kitchens available to hire.

Our large rustic Barn opens onto a large courtyard surrounded by lush gardens to allow you both an indoor and outdoor setting for your event. Hire of our barn comes with the use of a commercial kitchen.

Our industrial, warehouse style Art Room is perfect for slightly more low-key events, with access to an adjoining small courtyard that overlooks our nursery and fruit garden.

Both spaces have white-washed walls, industrial flooring, high ceilings and exposed metal beams, creating a perfect blank canvas for any event. You can dress the spaces up or down to suit absolutely any event.

Perth City Farm is completely BYO (food, drink, furniture, lighting)...which means no minimum spend or ‘drinks packages’! We’re accessible to all public transport and have ample parking close by. We even have a 2am curfew!

Venue hire is priced hourly or in half day and full day blocks, and we always try to be as flexible as possible with set up and pack up timeframes.

As well as the two main venues, we also have a small commercial kitchen space available to hire Monday-Thursday perfect for food production, or a larger community room with kitchen perfect to use as a workshop space.

We absolutely fell in love with this venue and for us it was the perfect choice! The freedom of BYO allowed to us to get creative & put together our perfect wedding. Our wedding ceremony was held in the Art room on the 31/08/19. Perth City Farm have been amazing to liaise with in arranging our ceremony and was the perfect venue. We also linked in with Heart and Soul Events Co. for their ceremony package at the farm which really made the process of BYO for our ceremony really easy. Perth City Farm is really a hidden gem in Perth City. A beautiful and unique location to hold a wedding! Communication and planning with Perth City Farm in the lead up to our big day was great. On our wedding day we had a slight issue with lighting in the toilets and as there was no one there to help sort it out we had to have candle lit toilets for the night. But when brought to their attention the next day they were completely apologetic and understanding and gave us a discount off our hire fee.

As we were planning a fairly laid-back, cocktail style wedding, City Farm was perfect for us in so many ways. The barn is massive and a complete blank canvas, so were were able to decorate it exactly the way we wanted. The price was insanely affordable considering the venue was ours for a full 2 and a half days, so we had the entire day before the wedding to set up, then all of Sunday morning to pack up. The outdoor area is really versatile with a huge paved area and lush walled garden beds. The only decoration we needed was some benches and festoon lights and it looked beautiful. Paula was so easy to deal with and was very trusting and laid back. She ran through the venue rules with us on the weekend and left us to it which made it so much easier to relax and enjoy the day. They let us use their furniture and move pot plants around, as long as we put them back. We were able to have the venue till late on the Saturday and security personnel came and locked up for us at the end of the night. Our guests were blown away with how beautiful the venue was and we couldn't have wished for a more perfect place to have our wedding.
